Hello Dennis,

Yes, that brown was caught in a very traditional manner, swinging a classic feather wing steelhead fly across and down through a tail-out of a pool. No weight was on the fly or tippet, it was a classic take - the fly was completing the swing and all of a sudden there was a big boil behind the fly and then a smashing strike. Very good fight too. Had the fish mounted and will post a photo of it soon.
