in Croton Falls Reservoir
near
Carmel
in
Putnam County,
New York (NY),
United States
North America
using
a Blue Fox 1 / 16oz blue minnow spin
a Trailer
I started out the day to hit The Harlem Meer
But my friend Jimmy called before I ducked
Into the subway and boy how I'm really glad.
He wanted to check several boats
In various waters upstate.
The weather was strange all day and finally
We decided to move one boat but not before
Throwing a line out and see what we'd catch.
We set the fishfinder and went a good ways
In coming back towards the shore
Jimmy started to get smacked left and right
He was using a different color
Luckily he gave me the hot lure
And I caught a nice crappie
I wasn't prepared to boat fish
And my rods`were way too long
Diverting Reservoir in Putnam County
Is a very nice body of water
And is underfished because of shore access.
