5.5 lb. Largemouth Bass caught by NCPIERMAN NCPIERMAN fishing on Friday October 23, 2009 at 08:21 near Springville in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania (PA), United States North America using a chug bug a Topwater Bait

all these fish were caught on chug bugs black to chrome color less than an hour fishing time in best 2 were 5.5 pounds and 4.7 pounds none under 3 pounds on the stringer

yea I love house of autry batter, thats how we do it too, we fillet, cut in chunks, and throw down, I put a little old bay seasoning in there too

try cooking them in chunks with house autry seafood breader man any fish worth eating is even better when deep fryed in nuggets in that stuff.
i normally dont keep any bass unless the wife wnats some to eat which isnt often she preffers red drum

yea we usually catch a few to cook every year but we throw most of them back,I never eat any over 5 pounds though I prefer the 3 pounders more I guess they dont have such a fishy taste compared to the bigger bass....thats just me though lol great catch anyway
