Kyle Tibbetts has both hands full here with his entries on day two of the 27th Winni Derby. Not shown are the other seven salmon and one laker he released.
Kyle caught the salmon on top using a planer board pulling a smelt. The laker was enticed by a spoon.
These fish were caught aboard the Humpback piloted by fishing buddy Paul Fairbanks. The boat got its name from the first fish caught using the boat... when Paul pulled up a humpbacked fish, his friend immediately gave him the brand: "Haha. We're going to call you Humpback."
