I didn't expect to catch much fishing for Largemouth bass in 36 feet of water, but that's what the report said to due. Turns out it was right. I caught an average of 30 bass per day (about 10 smallmouth & 20 largemouth) trolling a deep diving shad rap on one rod & a spinner bait on the other. The SECRET for Lake George in the summer is to troll deep using lead core lines & spinner baits. I used Bush Hog spinner baits. You could call it cheating, but I sure had fun. I let most of them go, but kept a few for a fish fry. Harris Bay is the body of water at the lower (Southern) end of Lake George.
As you can see, man's best friend comes along for the ride. Whitman (brown) & Chasse (black) -- 50lbs. each.
