Does anyone know how to catch landlocked bass in a pond that doesn't have much cover?

The place is a man made pond that gets stocked every now and then

I know the place and it's tough to fish. Water is muddy, very warm, and stagnent. Cat fish and Carp are in abundance. This time of year I would try a dark texas hooked weighted 5-6" worm along the weeds late or early. I also suggest a black surface popper at night! Good Luck!
