New fish species on list

Raul S.

Hello everyone I was just wondering if you have any fish species that you sometimes catch that are not on the list so they can be added to it. Thanks.

Well the only thing that I noticed is that there is no herring report. Also there will be a lot of atlantic mackerel postings on my report, and I didn't find that type of mackerel on the list. The only other thing I can think of is maybe having a different category for winter flounder and summer flounder too, like there are for halibut. Thanks and be sure to post anymore ideas.

I agree. Posting a 2 pound winter flounder under the heading "flounder"  makes it look like a small catch even though its a good size fish. There should be different titles for summer flounder, winter flounder, southern flounder, four spot flounder and yellow tail flounder. I have a lot of fish on my report that are just listed a fish because there is no category for them. Some of you might just think of them as trash fish but to me a fish is a fish. I wish there was a way to type in your species of fish.

Shamrock Inshore Charters

Hey Paul, Yeah thats a pilot fish on the side of that hammmer head. Its pretty common for

sharks, cobia ect.. to have one or more catching a ride on their back or sides. The pilot fish

has a suction cup like mouth and sucks all the parasites off its host fish.
