theres no fish i wouldnt "want" to catch again but if i angered the water gods and was forced to pick 1 i would have to go with something simple like the green sunfish.......good topics though

I said I wasnt gonna comment on this thread but I see "henry v" you are gonna try to lure me to speak on the subject just to get an argument started but im not gonna do it, I will say one thing it is defintely not a bowfin because I dont fish for them, so therefore I dont even put them in the same category to be one of the fish I would exclude from my list I wouldnt want to catch again, So I still stand on what I recently said in this thread I will not post the name of the fish I would exclude because it will get certain members upset...thank you for your time..... my 2 cents worth!!!

I love to catch anything that comes my way. But if i had to choose it would be the freshwater eel. always wrapping themselves in your line!

I second the eel. thay make good stripped bass bait if i can catch em in a killie trap and use them in the back bays or the surf to nail strippers. but if you dont have a rag good luck

Brandon, I 'm not trying to argue. I was joking. After all I know you like Bowfins (even if most people don;t). I'm always curious to see how people react. If you mention Bowfin on some websites the bass anglers just go ballistic.
think I know the fish, by the way.

No prob, its hard to see if someone is joking or not by reading words its impossible to put emotions or how somebody is feeling by reading something they type, its not the same as hearing someone say it in a particular way...I know what im trying to say now is prolly confusing as heck but anyway.....if you think you know the fish henry email me and I will gladly tell you if your right and if your not ill tell you anyway the email is brandonmabrey@hotmail.com

hey andrew, one great spot to get eel's all day lol its at the rartian river (Edison). Personally i dont like useing eel's for bait for strippers cause i have never caught them on eel's. but anyway man try it out when the current gets strong the eel's are out to play lol

I agree the snapping turtle though not a fish hate wen they hook on. I'm not a fan of the eels or bliuegills. However in the bluegills defense they are great for young kids easy to catch and decent fight for a young child.

This is not a Fish but i would not like to catch a Water Mocassin , Not Fun! snakes and EELS like to roll up fast on your Boat and play Havoc. I heard there are some areas they hang from Branches , so watchem out. I used to catch snakes as a kid and have handled all kinds , even killed a viper overseas ,man that thing got Hissier than a mad Pole Cat.

why wouldnt ypou want to catch a bow fin they fight hard and i love catching any fish there is but if i haqd to pick one i guess id say little fish of any species id rather catch the bigger ones but if the little ones are all that bites its still fun to catch em better than not catching anything! :)

Was going through the discussions and saw this one and figured it out. A dead body that would suck to catch one of those. I don't think that would be catch and release haha
