HULA POPPERS ARE GREAT DURING THE DAY WHERE DOCKS AND ANYTHING THAT CAN GIVE AN EDGE SHADOW TRY TO GET IT IN THE SHADE.. LET IT SIT THEN POP IT A FEW TIMES THEN LET IT SIT AND CHANGE IT UP ON THE RETRIVES FAST POPS SLOW POPS BIG SMALL.. ETC.. IVE HAD LOTS OF LUCK IN THE DAY FISHING THE SHADE AND ESPECIALLY AT DUSK

The best advice I can give is. Fish it late evening just before dark on a calm night. Cast toward bank's, lily pads, overhang's, anything good with cover. Cast let it sit for a few seconds for the ripples to clear. Pop 3 or 4 times (small pop's/big pop's) and let sit 10-15sec's. Go out there and experiment different speed's, pausing longer or shorter between pop's. Every fish want's it different. That's my best knowlegde for you.
