Bass Club of Salem County Looking for New Members
My Name is Jeff Rappa, along with my cousin Nick Rappa we began a Bass Cub, South Jersey Grabassers, we are in association with South Jersey Bass Association. In our first year we have had a great beginning year with 13 members and 7 teams all together. The comradery and challenge of tournament atmosphere makes it fun to participate. We are a Bass club with a twist, at times we will throw another species in for a separate lunker pool. We are setup as a non profit with a tax ID number that allows us to be a tax free,non profit organization. We meet every 2 months inhouse and belong to South Jersey Bass Association that has some 32 clubs in total that are current member oraganizations that meet every 3 months. We have not run an open buddy tournament yet but they are the money generators for individual clubs sponsering tournaments on a given body of water with 1,2,3 place awards and 2 lunker pools. After the season closes because of winter here we will be holding beef and beers as well as raffles and chinese auctions to raise more funds for the club. Next year we are entertaining thoughts on having a disabled veterans tournament where actual vets get to participate and get to fish on some of our bass boats, we are just beginning but we are anxious to get new membership to help bring about wildlife awareness to our sport.

What do you guys fish for? Strictly bass?
I belong to a few clubs down here in Florida and may consider starting a small boat/electric motor club. May want to pick you brains if you don’t mind.
