Multiple Pictures of same fish.

Greenes Custom Rods & Tackle

What is up with all of the pictures of small fish.  A 10" bass , a bluegill, white perch. Unless you are a child  these pictures of 1lb fish are a joke . Certain members do it all thee time just to be on the top of point leaders. It would also be a good idea to give away some scales because some of the weights are drastically off. Just my two cents

I agree... what's the point of putting so many redundant photos and reporting on each fish caught on one trip?  what do you get for accumulating so many points anyway???

Greenes Custom Rods & Tackle

My point exactly.   I also wonder sometimes how many of these fish make it back in the water ALIVE.

I dont understand why so many people get offendend by taking so many pics. Its not hurting you by posting so many pics. I think its great because it strikes up so many conversations with people all over. I know I for one am not catching trophy bass but i enjoy posting everyone cuz I can come back on here and relive that day I went fishing. I personally catch and release because I dont eat fish but if some members take photos of fish in their yard, then yeah they prob dont throw them back. News Flash, eating fish is not illegal. So come on cut some people some slack that enjoy catching and posting fish for everybody to enjoy.

I just like seeing fish from other places. Big or small. I dont post all my fish pictures and I dont take a picture of everything I catch. All of my pics are by the spot I caught the fish unless its a stripper or a fluke, because they are tasty.

This is all for fun guys. I post alot of small bass and panfish. I take a pic of one or two of them  and post my report. Its fun just to do, whether you're a kid or not. Its not about showing off your BIG fish,  just a picture of a fish you caught that day.

i post every fish i catch so im guilty of this infraction.my point is if you dont want to post all your fish dont post them, if you dont want to post a certain species of fish or small fish then dont post them, if you dont want to look at these post then scroll on to the next one.but i dont understand how any one member thinks they have a right to tell the other members what and how to use the site as long as its in the guidelines of the sites rules.i see lots of things on here that i disagree with but what someone posts is there choice and i nor anybody else has the right to tell them what to do.a site survives on the amount of activity so the more posts the more comments the more active the site is and that keeps it going everyone has a right to there opinion you dont have the right to impose your will on everyone. but thats just my opinion

Is there money to win, otherwise who gives a you know what. There are much more important things in life than to cry about a fishing website.Remember fishing is fun. You can always choose to not view someones pictures.

i agree with loonacidal and brian . if you want to cry about a website just dont come here. this website is a fun thing to do and to show off your catches. I will post a 20lb carp then i will jump to posting a less than a pound pickerel  i fish cause i love doing it. And think this is an aswome fishing website i love to look at the diffrent fish and snakes lol

Get over it. Personally, I treat my account as a fishing journal.

quit bitching. i use it the same to keep a count of my bowfin. i dont post all of my fish but i post a lot. i like seeing all of the fish posted big or small. its nice to see what other people are catching. i hate hearing this where are the big fish BS. look on here enough and you will find them. not every fish you catch is some kind of a record but thats not why most of us fish. its fun. well for most of us it is.

Some of those small fish will grow up to be monsters. They show the health of our fisheries.

this web site isnt just to let others see the fish you caught but it lets people keep track of what type of fish they caught where and when its almost like a fishing log, so no matter how little the fish it could end up helping people out in deciding where and when to go fishing!

I am glad to see all the different opinions wether they Whine or complain, it is healthy to let it out, not to hold in truths. As long as folks respect each other, all will be fine. When you put a bunch of Wild Fisherman hunter types together what do you expect anyways ! If all will put detailed info it will help us all ,when we come visiting , this site is frankly almost a secret, took me awhile to find it , cause lets face it , not high up on the search pages. The more Regular Folks and Families the Better, there are plenty of Guide sites out there with Redundant info, selling their agenda-----were as here, we have different ,Flat out honest outward opinions, keep them flying at me ! I am obviously big enough to take it , lol. Enjoy.

It should be fun for everyone, so post whatever fish you want. I didn't see anything that required us to post anything over a certain size.

How can you tell they are multiple pictures of the same fish? Fish of the same species that are similar in size are virtually indistinguishable. So how can you know? Furthermore, people post their summer catches in winter when they have time, so you are bound to see more pics of similar fish. Anyhow, there's a rational explantaion for the "same fish" pics, and it's nothing to get annoyed by.

On another note, this is what happens when the winter is bad: people get cabin fever and start posting anything about fishing. I hope spring gets here soon.

i've seen a bit of that. i take one maybe two pics then its back into the water with them. even if i am keeping them for food they go onto the stringer. i have a friend who just throws them in a bucket. then wonders why i dont want to eat the stiff cloudy eyed fish he caught. i tell him its like me putting a bag over his head and tossing him in the back of the truck. you have to resapect these animals.

fine i'll point the finger HAMMER! and the shots are obviously the same fish in multiple posts. and yes i have one post which my son also posted afterwards under his own account. but i admitted it when someone mentioned it.
