Can Bass see colors?

Can Bass and other predator fish see colors. I was doing some research on it but can't really be 100% since everyone has a different say about it. I found out that Common Goldfish see in color but that's about it. Well I think Bass can see in colors, basically because I have such good success with Junebug colors worms over any other color even when it's the same brand. What are your opionions?

The Bass Professor says they have the same retinal rod and cones we do, so they can see color up close and black and white from a far. The depth washes out certain colors the deeper you go.

Any one who has bed fished will say from experiance they can see color. Don't believe me come spring time throw different color senkos on beds. You will see what happens.

i think every one here has bed fished as a matter of fact im sure of it becouse durring the spawn we were all posting so i dont think that, that can give you a definate answer as to if they can see colors the same way we can, the conclustion of the matter is we aint fish so we cant know for certain we can only guess or like dennis take it from the bass professer himself. personaly i think they see colors just not like we do they see them diferant.

I believe bass and pickerel can see slight color variations and patterns at the least. In my experience they will go after differant colors on sunny or overcast days. They say white and bright colors work best on sunny days and black and darker colors work best on overcast days. This for me is true but I've still caught fish using bright colors in overcast conditions and viseversa. Just less often. My opinion is that they see some sort of color. Maybe not as well as us, but something.
