Okay so I used to live in New Jersey many many years ago! I actually lived right on Farrington Lake right in front of the Elks lodge! I know it’s a huge lake but there is a small pull off area on Rive Ave where my family would take there canoes. I had to google earth it since I couldn’t remember the name of the street but it looks like the area hasn’t changed in all these years. From this launch spot they could carry the canoes down to the lake. Not sure if you can do this with your small pontoon or not. But great lily pads and its located right where a stream comes into the lake. Great bass and pike fishing… This areas isn’t as wide open as the rest of the lake and from what I recall it was good fishing. If you get a chance google map the lake. Look for CO Rd 694 .649 crosses over the lake and then the fisrt right is Riva Avenue. About a half of a mile down you will see a clear cut line thru the land. Its where power lines use to be. On the lake side of Riva ave there is a small pull off area. That’s the spot. It appears to be right across from the jail?
Just thought I would throw my two cents in there.
Good luck whenever and where ever you go!

I think these 2 lakes are in middlesex county. I've had luck on both.
Carnganie for bass and crappie. Farrington for pike and pickerel.
For the battery, I bought the biggest deep cycle battery that SAMS sold at the time. I can troll against current for 6-8 hrs with my 55 lb thrust min kota.
